I regret to inform you that the family of Mr. Craig Morrison, a Senior English Major, Vice President of Student Government, Greek Senate Treasurer, frequent community outreach volunteer and student leader lost his Jersey City home and a majority of his family's belongings to a house fire last night.
I can attest from personal experience that Mr. Morrison is one of the finest young men our institution has to offer. He is the first to offer his time and effort to aid in community service projects and give back in honor of the many blessings bestowed upon him but now he is in need of our collective support.
The Center for Community Service and volunteerism will be accepting monetary donations in Mr. Morrison's name to aid him and his family in piecing together their suddenly shattered lives.
Donations will be accepted at the Office of Campus Life in The Business Development Incubator, 285 West side Avenue, Rooms 190 and 197.
For further information or suggestions to help Mr. Morrison, please call Robert Quinones @ 201-200-3585.
The irony in this all is that it occurred just days before Mr. Morrison
will be joining me and 15 other NJCU students on an Alternative Spring Break trip to Columbus, Georgia to help build homes for the less fortunate. He is looking forward to the trip.
Thank you for your time and attention.

Be alert to give service. What counts a great deal in life is what we do for others.
